The Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area is easily accessed by vehicle on Hwy-59 South (also known as Gulf Shores Parkway) off Interstate-10. Almost the entire southeastern United States can reach the coastal area of Alabama in less than a days drive. As for flying, both Mobile and Pensacola offer major airline service.

Note, the new "Foley Express" (a toll road to the beach) has opened up as an alternative to taking Hwy-59 pass Foley, Alabama.  During peak season and crowded holiday periods, the toll road can be a good alternative.  But typically, we recommend saving the $2.00 and staying on Hwy-59.

To Island Winds East/West in Gulf Shores, Alabama - Take Hwy-59 South to Beach Blvd. Go West (Right) on Beach Blvd. approximately 0.5 miles. Island Winds East is the first high-rise property on the beachside of the road (on your Left).
